The relationship between penis size and gun ownership has been a persistent topic in popular culture, but weirdly, it has escaped any direct empirical analysis by scientists. But this notion is untested, and thus, it raises questions both about the causes of gun ownership and about which groups in society are more or less likely to own guns. The survey also asked its respondents to rate their overall satisfaction with their penis size when fully erect on a scale from 1 to 7 . Additionally, the survey respondents were asked whether they had ever used any penis enhancement methods, such as penis pumps, weights, stretching exercises, supplements, creams or surgeries.
These associations were strongest in men between the ages of 18 and 29 and the ages of 45 to 50 . The researchers also found that it was weakest in men over 60.“Our analysis consistently failed to support the hypothesis,” reported the study’s authors. “Instead, we found that rates of gun ownership were similar for men who had attempted penis enlargement and men who had no experiences with penis enlargement.
