Magic Mike 3 is the final installment of Channing Tatum's male stripper trilogy, but is there a post-credits scene setting up the franchise's future?

Channing Tatum returns as Magic Mike in the third installment of the male stripper franchise, though he’s not dancing with the Kings of Tampa this time around.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY While Magic Mike 3 is situated as the end of Mike’s dancing career, the success of the show sets up a potential future for the franchise. Director Steven Soderbergh has also teased the possibility of creating a cinematic universe with Magic Mike spinoffs, perhaps with brand-new characters or returning dancers from the first three movies .
However, Magic Mike 3 does feature a photograph of the new group of dancers in the end-credits. Still, the individual names that flash on the screen during the credits don’t clearly identify Magic Mike 3’s dancers, which is a mistake given the vast majority of them were nameless and without any identity as characters in the movie.
Why A Post-Credits Scene Would Have Been Better For Magic Mike 3 Post-credits scenes are more often being used by franchises to set up future storylines in sequels or spinoffs, which would have been a smart play for Magic Mike 3. With Soderbergh teasing potential spinoffs, Magic Mike’s Last Dance could have included another scene of the dancers from Max’s show or potentially a young guy like Adam from the first movie seeing the show and being inspired to become a dancer himself.
Even if Magic Mike 3 avoided setting up any spinoffs or looking back on the franchise with the credits, it would have been incredibly fitting for a dance movie to include clips of cut dance sequences or new routines specifically for the credits. Although a post-credits scene for Magic Mike's Last Dance would have made sense, Steven Soderbergh’s movies haven’t caught onto the trend, whether anticipating a franchise future or not.
