Jesenea Miron, 23, was charged Tuesday, July 19, with kidnapping and child stealing with a sentencing enhancement of depriving a parent of a child, Riverside County Superior Court records show. Miron pleaded not guilty to all charges. A hearing on her $1 million bail was set for July 26. But the baby’s father stopped her, according to a sworn document filed by a sheriff’s investigator in Superior Court that sought to increase Miron’s bail to $1 million. Then, before Miron fled, hospital employees then confronted her, sheriff’s Sgt. Brandi Swan said Tuesday.
