School uniform and sports kit can cost around £100 per pupil
Raising a child comes with inevitable costs, with everything from the basic necessities such as food and clothes to more exciting things such as trips away to try and give them the best life possible.
One of the many costs is of course school, with uniform, equipment and more adding a bit of extra financial pressure for parents. With the costs that schools can incur and the ongoing cost of living crisis, we want to know if you think parents are required to pay too much for school related things for their kids.Beyond the more noticeable outlays of uniform and equipment, there are a number of costs that can stack up including buying costumes for school plays, money for school trips and even little things such as donations on non-uniform days.
And with costs spiking for many things at the moment such as fuel and food, it could be yet more pressure for some families to handle while trying to ensure their children get a fulfilling education.
