Draymond Green bounced back from his performance in Game 1 to help the Warriors seal a series-tying victory at Chase Center.
SAN FRANCISCO – Draymond Green was repulsed by his performance earlier this week in Game 1 of the Warriors’ playoff series with the Lakers.
After 48 hours of reflection, Green thought he was indecisive on both ends of the floor and knew that needed to change for the Warriors to avoid slipping into a 2-0 hole before the series shifted to Southern California. “I don’t know who this guy is defensively,” DeMarco told Green after showing him clips from the first three quarters of Tuesday’s loss.
Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green scores a basket against Los Angeles Lakers’ Rui Hachimura in the second half of Game 2 of the NBA basketball Western Conference semifinal playoff series at the Chase Center in San Francisco, Calif., on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Green was one assist shy of a triple-double, ending Thursday with 11 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. He also was a big part in preventing Anthony Davis from finding his groove on offense.
