The International Women’s Air & Space Museum’s upcoming “Dinner with a Slice of History” program features two women in key behind-the-scenes aviation roles.
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The International Women’s Air & Space Museum’s final “Dinner with a Slice of History” program of 2023 will be “Life in the Air Starts and Stops on the Ground,” featuring two women in key behind-the-scenes aviation roles.
The program is Friday, Oct. 13. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., with the program at 6:30 p.m. It’s the first in a two-part series with the Cleveland Grays Armory Museum. Dr. Claudette Owens and Army Colonel Mary Miller will offer insight on their numerous behind-the-scenes activities in aviation. The women worked with Army Space and Missile Defense Command.Tickets include admission and boxed dinner. In-person tickets are $27 . Virtual tickets require minimum donation of $10. The museum offers a ticket bundle and discounted one-year membership for $55.
