The winning Powerball lottery numbers are drawn Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022, at 10:59 p.m. The Powerball jackpot drawing today (11/9/2022) is worth an estimated $20 million million for a single winner.
The jackpot winning ticket for the historic Powerball drawing was sold at a gas station in Altadena, Los Angeles County.matched five numbers, but not the Powerball, and are worth $1 million apiece. The tickets were sold in East Windsor, Edison and Merchantville.
In addition, eight third-prize tickets matching four numbers plus the Powerball were sold in New Jersey. One is worth $100,000 because it was bought with the Power Play for an extra $1. The others are valued at $50,000 apiece. The cash option for Tuesday’s massive jackpot is worth $997.6 million. In California, lottery winners can not claim prizes anonymously.
