Police were called to the Park Hotel around 90 minutes after the fight night kicked off.
The Reckoning event, run by SNG Promotions was organised to raise vital funds for the men's mental health charity, Release.Police have confirmed that a 19-year-old man was charged in connection with a report of a disturbance and the individual was issued with a recorded police warning. SNG Promotions posted on Facebook: "Guys on behalf of myself ,Shaun Maxwell and Gugy Baljit Summel I am absolutely devastated and disgusted beyond words.
"The work that has been put into this event to make it a success has been huge, I'm absolutely heartbroken right now...this was a night for men's mental health and to honour and highlight Darren Young's heartbreaking story."A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8pm on Friday, August 23, 2024 we received a report of a disturbance in the Dundonald Place area of Kilmarnock.
"A 19-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident and issued a Recorded Police Warning.”
