The “X-Men” star and Australian actress announced announced in a joint statement Friday they were separating after 27 years of marriage and two children together.
In video exclusively obtained by Page Six, the “X-Men” star told paparazzi he is going through a “difficult time” before continuing his daytime stroll in New York City Saturday.
The 54-year-old kept his daytime wear casual, tying the look together with black sneakers and Aviator sunglasses.“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the two shared in a joint statement made to People.Elder Ordonez / SplashNews.com“Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”added that their family “has been and always will be [their] highest priority.
While that was the first time the actors spoke about their separation, a Broadway insider told Page Six Friday that others have“It happened a while ago. Friends and family knew about it,” our source previously said, adding that their separation was “a long time coming.”
