Former Ohio State offensive tackle Taylor Decker agrees to a three-year, $60 million contract extension with the Detroit Lions that includes $31.83 million guaranteed.

The former Ohio State offensive tackle agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract extension with the Detroit Lions on Monday. The contract extension includes $31.83 million in guaranteed money, according to his agent Jonathan Feinsod.Decker, who has spent his entire NFL career with the Lions, receives the extension after helping lead the Lions to the NFC Championship Game this past season for the first time in 32 years.

A stalwart on the Lions’ offensive line since they selected him with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, Decker has started 112 games over the past eight seasons. Having already been the Lions’ longest-tenured player since 2021, Decker is now under contract with the team through 2027. Assuming he completes his new contract with the Lions, Decker’s career earnings in the NFL will be more than $140 million.
