The partnership aims to bolster the development of curriculum-aligned learning materials, construct school buildings and canteens, and support key DepEd initiatives such as Brigada Eskwela, the School-Based Feeding Program, and the celebration of National Teachers’ Day. DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara expressed his gratitude to the Rebisco Food Group for their continued support of the department’s mission, and hoped more private partners will follow suit in reinforcing basic education programs.
