Authorities made an arrest in connection with the death of woman whose body was found earlier this year, Denton police said.
In a news release Wednesday, police said investigators identified 39-year-old Tommy Bays III of Denton as a person of interest.On Jan. 17, officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Monterey Drive, where someone reported that they found a dead woman inside a “shed of a vacant house,” police said. The woman was identified as Melonie Frye, 44.Police later said they were investigating the incident as a “suspicious death.” In March, her death was ruled a homicide, according to police.
