Emerson Boro's Lauterback finishes second
All-around champion Sophia DeLorenzo led Ramapo to the team title at the Bergen County Championships on Friday at Ridgewood High School.
Avery Lauterback of Emerson Boro secured the all-around runner-up position with a score of 36.375. Lauterback excelled on the bars, winning the event with a 9.45, and also tied for first place on the vault with a 9.425. She added a second-place finish on the beam to cap an impressive all-around performance.
In the vault competition, Hope Gasperino of Pascack Hills rounded out the top three with a score of 9.35, showcasing her power and technique on the event.
