A 71-year-old woman who was reported missing out of Harris County was found safe following a search in Gonzales County.

The Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office said they received a report around 7 p.m. Tuesday of a vehicle off the roadway in brush in the 7100 block of East State Highway 97.When deputies arrived, they found the vehicle, but no one was inside. As they investigated, they learned the vehicle belonged to a 71-year-old woman, who had been reported missing out of Harris County.
