Murray made good on his goal, scoring 15 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter and finishing with nine rebounds to lead the Spurs to a 104-102 come-from-behind win over Utah. “He deserves it,” Murray said. “He’s a great man, a great coach…It’s pretty dope to see. Just to be a part of this moment. We love him. We appreciate him. Like I said, he deserves it. I’m just glad we came together and were like, ‘Let’s get this win tonight. Let’s do it tonight.’ That just showed our character and how hard we want to win.”
But the Spurs, who came into the game 0-34 this season when trailing after three quarters, rallied behind Murray, who made a pair of free throws with 4.8 seconds and 1 of 2 with one second left to seal the victory.
