Hugh Jackman's yellow Deadpool & Wolverine suit got a wholesome and emotional reaction from the on-set crew during its first camera test.

“I’ve never seen a crew reaction like that. We barely talked about the suit in the early development because it was a no-brainer. You don’t do this character now unless he’s in the suit.” Director Shawn Levy also mentioned that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was adamant about introducing Jackman’s yellow suit. He praised the fact that Wolverine still turned out to be a huge character without his suit, saying:
“It’s a testament to Wolverine that it didn’t necessarily matter; the character is more than the costume.” But he also believed that Jackman not being in a yellow Wolverine suit was similar to Clark Kent “never wearing the Superman costume” for 10 movies.
