Summary New footage from Deadpool & Wolverine gives fans a great look at one of the Deadpool variants who will appear in the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie set to release this year. While Ryan Reynolds has been confirmed to play at least one other version of Deadpool in the MCU movie, Deadpool & Wolverine's star-studded cast will include other actors playing versions of the Merc With a Mouth, and an unconventional one is the star of new footage.
What Variants Are Confirmed Or Rumored For Deadpool & Wolverine Multiple Deadpool Variants Have Been Revealed Close Before the first trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine was released, Hugh Jackman teased that he had a dual role in the MCU movie, which could lead to the actor playing a couple of versions of Wolverine. Deadpool & Wolverine's trailers have also teased the arrival of the "Patch" variant of Logan, which wears a white tuxedo and an eyepatch.
As for Deadpool variants, the situation is different. That is because Dogpool was already confirmed by Deadpool & Wolverine's trailers, while many other versions of the character have either been revealed or teased in different ways. Also, in the Deadpool & Wolverine trailers there are teases of a character who should be Lady Deadpool. The variant was previously rumored to be played by superstar Taylor Swift, who has since been confirmed to not be in the film.
