As dead fish wash up in Texas, a massive “belt” of seaweed stretching across the Atlantic closes beaches in Florida.

It’s up to humans to decide whether we want an ocean full of dead fish, seaweed and algae, or a multitude of species, including those we harvest to feed millions of people.
