De Lima says no to total lockdown; wants ‘gradual, calibrated lifting of ECQ’

While supporting a gradual and calibrated lifting of the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, De Lima thumbed down the idea of a total lockdown as it “can only mean more hungry and angry people.” | NAMercadoINQ

“But the experience on the ground starkly reveals otherwise,” De Lima said.

“There are many tales of confusion, slowness, discontentment, and frustrations over the distribution of cash aid, with questionable or deficient, ever-changing guidelines issued by the DSWD .
