Yasss!’A third person enthused: ‘Yeah! this is all the motivation i needed to go back and continue since he left.’Damian’s season five exit, titled No Direction Home, saw Axe lose all his companies to rival billionaire Michael Prince .
Speaking about a possible comeback, the 52-year-old told New York Times at the time: ‘There’s an opportunity maybe for me to return. But for now, broadly speaking, Axe has been vanquished.’ He added playing Axelrod was ‘easily the most time I’ve spent playing one character’, after bowing out of Homeland following three seasons of starring as Nicholas Brody.
