After not adding to the list on Tuesday, the latest group joins Radek Faksa, Jani Hakanpaa, Miro Heiskanen, Roope Hintz, Joel Kiviranta, Esa Lindell, Michael Raffl, Jason Robertson and two other support staff members who are also in protocols. Benn and Suter participated in practice on Tuesday. Glendening did not skate due to a lower-body injury.. The previous three were for different reasons: concerns about cross-border travel, an early start to Christmas break, and a delayed finish for Christmas break to allow for more testing.The NHL on Wednesday followed other leagues and the CDC byunder certain conditions and where it is allowed by local laws. The change applies only in the U.S. because of stricter pandemic regulations in Canada.

Players, coaches and staff who tested positive for the coronavirus can return after five days if symptoms are gone or resolving themselves with a negative PCR test or two negative rapid test results taken more than two hours apart.
