Banter by Piercing Pagoda wants its consumers to feel empowered and “SayGAY.”, the Dallas-based speciality kiosk retailer will start selling a limited edition necklace with a “SayGAY’' nameplate for Pride Month. The company is pledging up to $25,000 of the proceeds to the It Gets Better Project, a Los Angeles nonprofit that works to uplift LGBTQ youth.

This is the second year the nonprofit partnered with the jewelry store, said Jimmy Ancheta-Tilley Jr., its associate director of development. The necklace will be sold throughout June, with Banter by Piercing Pagoda donating the retail price of $149 for each necklace sold. Banter by Piercing Pagoda is owned by Signet Jewelers, which also sells jewelry through stores branded as Zales, Kay and Jared.
