Whether it be rental assistance, helping families after loss or assisting with the aftermath of natural disasters or fires.“The Salvation Army has done this for over 150 years,” Johns said.“When those items are taken, we are not able to help as much with funding programs as we would want to,” Jason said.
When the stuff is rummaged through – these people are leaving items they don’t want strewn out… often leaving them left to ruin.“When people go through donations, you don’t know what is in there. There could be broken glass and all kinds of things in there and we don’t want people to get hurt, “Johns said.
