Ramaphosa also dealt with the removal of Nhlanhla Nene as finance minister in December 2015 and his replacement with ANC MP Des van Rooyen. In a move to reassure the inquiry on the actions taken by the government so far to deal with state capture and corruption, he detailed action he had taken since taking office in 2018.
