In addition to free rides, eligible individuals will receive 10% off most Cafe Car purchases and $2 off coach tickets any day of the week.
PENNINSULA, Ohio -- The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is showing its appreciation for veterans, active military personnel and first responders by offering free rides and a variety of special discounts.
Eligible individuals can enjoy a free coach ticket on a National Park Scenic Excursion trip every Thursday from June through September and receive 50% off three additional coach seats for the ride. However, the special discounts are not limited to Thursdays. Active military members, veterans and first responders can get $2 off coach tickets for National Park Scenic Excursion trips on any day of the week, except during October.
As an extra token of appreciation, they will also receive a 10% discount on all purchases in the Cafe Car, excluding alcohol, on any day or excursion. These special offers are available exclusively for walk-up purchases at the Akron Northside Station and Peninsula Depot.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
