An unidentified customer at Speedway , 880 North Rocky River, threw a 40-ounce fountain drink at a worker Dec. 16. The incident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. Two females entered the store. The worker told one of the females, who had poured herself the 40-ounce drink, that she had to pay for the drink, a cup of ice and other merchandise that she was holding. The worker and the female exchanged harsh words before the female tossed the cup of ice at the worker.

Then the female threw the fountain drink into the worker’s face. The female walked out of the store. The worker followed her outside, hoping to write down the license plate number of her vehicle.
