We just scooped it out, built a dam and built the house to extend out over the lake.
Priced at $995,000, the home has been extensively remodeled to incorporate modern conveniences while preserving the integrity of the original aesthetic, Jason said. The design boasts tongue and groove cedar plank ceilings, expansive windows and clean, horizontal lines, seamlessly connecting the interior to the home’s beautiful natural soundings.
“Fist-sized rocks, shiny green ivy, mature trees and the lake define much of the 1.2-acre lot,” The Plain Dealer wrote 24 years ago. “Several mallard families paddle under the above-the-water laminate wood deck, traveling from the front to the back of the property.”
