This post contains SPOILERS for Creature Commandos episode 4 Creature Commandos episode 4 features several exciting Easter eggs and features, many of which connect to the greater DCU in some major ways. While the focus of this new chapter is very much on the past and origins of Weasel (Sean Gunn), it also looks forward to a very dark future.
As such, there are some very cool character debuts and nods to DC Comics as well as the brand-new DC Universe that's just begun. As was seen in Creature Commandos episode 3, Task Force M successfully took down the Amazonian witch Circe (Anya Chalotra), only to be told that they'd just doomed the world by preventing her from killing Princess Ilana Rotovic (Maria Bakalova). Now, Creature Commandos largely takes place back at Belle Reve before Amanda Waller gives her monsters brand-new orders to go back to Pokolistan and do exactly what they'd just prevented Circe from doing. Keeping that in mind, here are the biggest Easter eggs and references we found in Creature Commandos episode 4. 9 Task Force X's John Economos John's Injuries Are From Peacemaker Season 1 Having been featured in both 2021's The Suicide Squad and 2022's Peacemaker season 1, Task Force X's John Economos (Steve Agee) is featured working at Belle Reve. Shown trying to ward off Weasel's lawyer, Economos is using a crutch, though the lawyer doesn't believe his claim that he injured his leg while fighting off an alien invasion. This is a reference to the events of Peacemaker season 1. 8 Weasel's Lawyer, Elizabeth Bates Voiced By Linda Cardellini Close 7 Weasel's lawyer is Elizabeth Bates, a character from the original DC Comics who first appeared in 1940's Hit Comics #4. She's also voiced by Linda Cardellini, who voiced Lyla in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol
