jelloooojenAlso added 1/3 of an avocado in the asparagus purée, following NancyFrom Kona's comment, I added the pasta water after the puree was almost fully blended. This green sauce was amazing.

I also tossed some cherry tomatoes into the pasta in the end with shaved Parmesan :) Thanks for the recipe! This is a recipe very close to Gourmet or Bon Aperit recipe I have been using for many years.Geez, that sounds good. I would be tempted to cook the non puréed asparagus with the pastaThis is a very tasty, easy recipe. I had several #'s of asparagus from The Big Box Store and was weary of grilling them again.

Grilled Swordfish with Lemon and Caper Sauce Recipe on Food52Grilled Swordfish with Lemon and Caper Sauce Recipe on Food52I’m so glad swordfish is back and sustainable. I’ve loved grilling it since a long-ago event at Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium where the chef simply sprinkled the fish with freshly ground white pepper and squirted fresh lime juice over. Skillet-Roasted Chicken Thighs With Dandelion Greens & Baby Carrots Recipe on Food52Skillet-Roasted Chicken Thighs With Dandelion Greens & Baby Carrots Recipe on Food52I love a good one-dish meal because it is a busy cook’s romantic ideal: efficient, thoughtful and, when cooked properly, almost necessarily resulting in clean and simple flavors. Here, the recipe is exactly that: an honest dinner, cooked simply, from only four ingredients that took up space in the refrigerator. The combination, however, of well-seasoned roast chicken, tender baby carrots, slightly wilted dandelion greens, and a squeeze of lemon juice shouts of dinner's arrival in a clear tenor to the tune of no dishes or leftovers.

Drunken Clams with Sausage Recipe on Food52Drunken Clams with Sausage Recipe on Food52I developed this dish by experimenting with my favorite ingredients -- clams, sausage, wine and heavy cream. I love it because it is simple to make, because it takes very little time, because it impresses the crowd, and most of all, I love it for the broth! The broth takes me to another world and I can never have enough of it. But the key to getting the dish right lies entirely in CLEANING YOUR CLAMS PROPERLY! So before you go and take the plunge, here is a link to a pretty good explanation on how to do it http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-clean-the-sand-out-of-c-58389.

Alabama-Style Chicken Kebabs Recipe on Food52Alabama-Style Chicken Kebabs Recipe on Food52Maybe you've heard of or make 'white' barbecue sauce from Alabama -- it's tart and tangy with mayo and vinegar as its base instead of the more common tomato. I like it a lot and thought I'd put a new twist on it for some chicken kebabs. Instead of the traditional horseradish I substituted sambal oelek for a bigger kick and a little sugar for sweetness. And extra is great as a dipping sauce.
