PETALING JAYA: As Covid-19 intensifies across the globe, Alliance for a Safe Community Chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye says that cooperation from all levels of society is vital to address the effects of the crisis.
“The government does not have a monopoly on public health and safety. It is vested in all of us, the community.
In a statement issued on Saturday , Lee said the most important battle against the Covid-19 pandemic is the public understanding of accurate facts to dispel fake news that is counterproductive to the efforts of the Health Ministry. “The RM20bil stimulus package announced earlier needs to be reviewed and revised upward to help those who are the hardest hit by Covid-19.
