JOHOR BARU: Hospital Sultan Ismail (HSI) here has shortened its visiting hours and has forbidden children under the age of 12 from visiting its wards to curb the spread of Covid-19.
According to the notice, visiting hours will be from 1pm to 2pm, as well as 5pm to 6pm daily, including public holidays and weekends.
When contacted, state health director Dr Aman Rabu confirmed the changes, adding that it was made in accordance with the hospital’s policy.“Changes to the visiting schedule can be made as long as it provides sufficient time for visitors to visit patients, ” he said when contacted.
