PETALING JAYA: Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) has taken steps to limit the number of visitors, following the increase of Covid-19 cases.
Besides decreasing the number of visitors allowed at the wards, the Klang-based hospital is also forbidding children under 12 years of age from visiting.
The measure to limit visitors is being taken to reduce the risk of infection among patients, visitors and hospital staff, it said. “Visitation hours have been shortened from 1pm to 2pm and 5pm to 6.30pm on working days and these also include public holidays," said the hospital in a statement on Thursday .
The new regulations were immediately enforced, said the hospital, adding that it will inform the public of any changes in the future.
