Now, while speaking to Variety at an event, Cox said,"I’m not officially signed on. I’m not, but there will be a ‘Scream 7.’" However, this does not appear to be a case of reports being untrue, as the actor also stated,"They’re rewriting all the time. It’s not like I don’t know what’s going on," indicating she is being kept in the loop and is still likely in negotiations.
