A state commission found Czezre Adams' conduct 'egregious.'
For the past three years, though, Adams has been appealing his termination.
Adams and the man, who met over Twitter, had consensual sex, which Adams filmed with the man’s consent, the decision says. Adams then shared the footage with the man on a chat app, which the man also consented to, but he asked Adams not to post anything on Twitter. Adams first appealed to the state Office of Administrative Law , which noted that when it received the case, Adams had four pending disciplinary matters already before them. They were for unrelated matters —being rude to a 911 caller, improperly reporting a vehicle crash, and two for unprofessional behavior or language. The case then went to the state’s Civil Service Commission , which can adopt, reject or modify the OAL recommendation, and in this case, they rejected it.
