Alexander Hilton Randles was the subject of a warrant for interstate transmission of a threat to kidnap or injure someone, court document revealed.

FBI agents were attempting to serve an arrest warrant on Alexander Hilton Randles for interstate transmission of a threat to kidnap or injure someone. When the FBI SWAT team encountered Randles at the Colonial Grand at Traditions apartment complex they opened fire, killing him.The court documents show that Randles used his Facebook page to call for an “unorganized militia” of men to arm themselves, stating that “foregoing districts” were under martial law.

A screen shot of Randles post stated that he would “instruct the arrest of insurrected government officials” and gave those he called insurrectionists until Dec. 15 to step down and surrender to the military or militia, the probable cause document indicates. Randles also commanded his would-be militia not to take action without his instruction.

Court documents also indicate that Randles believed he was the victim of a conspiracy between an unknown domestic terrorist group that he claimed had infected him with a disease and a doctor who Randles believes falsified his medical records. The documents state that Randles threatened to “take matters into his own hands” if Foley police did not rectify the situation with the doctor’s office in a timely fashion.

The documents also show Randles was Involuntarily committed to the Department of Mental Health for three weeks earlier this year.Couple found dead in residence on Cottrell Street, MPD saysHansen Super Techs is collecting personal care kits as part of our 10 Caring Gifts initiative
