Its a court battle over " The Hideout ," a business in Steelton , and its been brewing long before a body was found beaten to death at the establishment. Court documents say the landlord of the building tried to evict the man running the venue, known as both Nathan May and Dante Labron, over a year ago.

The lawsuit was filed in March of 2023, accusing May, the venue runner, of not paying rent, and for violating his lease. The suit also alleges May is operating "The Hideout" as an "unauthorized BYOB strip club establishment, in violation with the lease agreement and Steelton Borough's codes." The Steelton Borough itself is threatening May with citations, saying "the defendant's use of the rental property is creating a nuisance to the neighborhood." May spoke to CBS 21 over the phone on Tuesday, where he said the landlord lied to him before signing a three-year lease in December 2022. He said in February 2023 May withheld one month of rent because of plumbing issues at the building, which he claimed the landlord didn't properly repair. May, who runs the business, appealed the lawsuit, and filed a counter-lawsuit.According to the documents, the landlord claims May made alterations to the building, including painting, that also violated the lease. The most recent ruling from a judge came down in early April, where the judge ruled in favor of the landlord saying May owes the landlord $3,175 in unpaid rent and court dues. This all comes after a body was found at the Steelton business. Otilio Lugo-Rivera's autopsy results reveal he was beaten to death, dying from blunt force trauma impacting two parts of his brain. Police said they are looking for the person responsible for the attack.Warrant out for man accused of beating person to death at 'The Hideout' in Steelton
