Los Angeles County public health officials reported 698 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 2,814,409 as of Tuesday, March 15.
Officials reported 28 more deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 31,343 deaths since tracking began. There were 12 more hospitalizations reported since Monday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 503. According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 74% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
