State police confirmed there is no threat to the public from an incident it responded to last night on the 2200 block of Newville Road in West Pennsboro Township.

Trooper Megan Ammerman, a state police spokeswoman, said police are no longer at the scene, and that travel is open again to the public. Last night, she advised the public to avoid the area in a tweet at 8 p.m.
