The crowd protesting Muhyiddin Yassin’s appointment as prime minister outside the Sogo shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
KUALA LUMPUR: Police have opened investigation papers into yesterday’s rally at the Sogo shopping centre here, attended by activists Marina Mahathir and Ambiga Sreenevasan, among others. “We got wind of what happened, and we are investigating,” Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador said in a press conference at Bukit Aman today.
He added that Federal Criminal Investigation Department director Huzir Mohamed had further details on the matter.
