A 13-year-old boy suffered a minor gunshot wound while riding his bicycle in the city's Jackson Park neighborhood.
A teenage boy was grazed by a bullet from a passing vehicle Saturday afternoon as he rode his bicycle near Jackson Park on the city’s South Side, according to Chicago police.
The 13-year-old was hurt around 5 p.m. while riding in the 1900 block of East 67th Street, police said in a news notification. As the boy was riding, police said a gunman inside a passing red Hyundai fired a shot, grazing the boy’s knee. The teen was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.
