SERDANG: Police have arrested a 24-year-old woman for allegedly abusing two children who were under her care.
Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said they were alerted to the incident after a video was posted on TikTok showing images of the two children, aged four and seven, who had allegedly been abused while they were at their babysitter's house in Seri Kembangan."After being alerted about the alleged abuse, the complainant attempted to contact the children's mother and she was told about what had happened," he said in a statement on Friday .
"When the friend went to get the children, she noticed that both of them had bruises and welts all over their body believed to be from being caned. He said that investigations revealed both children were sent to the babysitter's house in March because their mother had to work in Singapore.
