Overnight Monday through most of Tuesday brought much needed rain to the NBC 15 area. Most spots picked up between 1.5"-3.5" of rain which will significantly help our drought situation. The heaviest of the rain moved out Tuesday afternoon. We'll hold onto a slight chance of showers through Tuesday evening, but we'll see dry skies by the overnight.
Cooler air will begin to move in for our Wednesday as daytime highs range in the low to mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. It will be gusty though with winds out of the northwest. By Wednesday night, most north of the immediate coastline will see lows well into the 40s with a chance some inland communities could see upper 30s.
