Serve with chips and fresh watermelon on the side a delicious summertime treat.1) In a medium bowl, combine the diced avocados, tomato, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño . Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently toss the ingredients together until well mixed. Set aside.
2) In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix. Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a small patty. 3) Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates or skillet. Cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
4) Toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by a slice of tomato and a pickle. Place a beef patty on top of the vegetables. Generously spoon the avocado salsa over the beef patty. Top with the other half of the bun.
