THE Malaysian Meteorological Department has forecast continuous rain in several parts of Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Sarawak, and Sabah up to Wednesday. According to the alert issued at 12.05am today, continuous rain is expected to occur in Kuantan, Pekan, and Rompin in Pahang. In Terengganu, it will occur in Dungun and Kemaman while in Johor, the areas expected to be hit are Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Baru.
The areas that may be affected in Sarawak are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu and Miri , while in Sabah, they are Tambunan, Pantai Barat, Lahad Datu, Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, Sandakan, and Kudat. – Bernama, January 23, 2023.
