KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued an alert warning of continuous rain in several parts of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah.
According to the alert warning statement issued at 2pm Saturday , continuous rain is expected to occur in Kelantan and a few areas in Terengganu, namely Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Hulu Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu and Marang up to Sunday .
Continuous rain is also expected to occur in Dungun and Kemaman in Terengganu, Pahang as well as Johor until Jan 25. The areas expected to experience continuous rain from Jan 23 to 25 in Sarawak are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Bintulu and Miri , while Tambunan, Tawau, Lahad Datu, Sandakan, Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, Sandakan and Kudat in Sabah. - Bernama
