In“The project was intended to extend from Westpark at 1093 all the way through Firethorn to I-10,” resident Brian Hosford explained.

“You rarely see crew members working, and it’s created a hectic situation,” stated Fort Bend residents. In the shopping area, it is reported that many cars constantly cut through business parking lots, making them chaotic due to drivers avoiding multiple traffic lights.“The light right across the street, when they closed off that light, they didn’t put enough cones or something. So, a car actually drove off the ledge before they filled it,” Dau said.

The project, which began in February 2022, was proposed by TXDOT to take three years to complete.
