CONCORD — Two people suspected of traveling in a stolen car were arrested Monday following a head-on crash near the Kinney Bridge on Willow Pass Road, police said.
It all started when Concord police tried to stop a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Alameda County, Garcia said. The driver refused to pull over, sped into a nearby neighborhood and eventually abandoned the car, Garcia said. The car sped northbound on Willow Pass Road and collided with a southbound vehicle as it approached state Highway 4, Garcia said.
