American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha has copped a gruesome injury to her face after she was smacked in the head by a phone during her New York concert.
Rexha updated fans on Instagram overnight with a gruesome photo of her face, but her response was brief. The close up photo showed Rexha's swollen black eye with two white bandages taped over her stiches. "You deserve so much better. Feel better soon," one fan wrote.
"So sorry this happened to you! Society has lost its mind. Hope this leads to more phone free concerts," a second person commented.According to People Magazine, a 27-year-old man from New Jersey is accused of throwing the phone. He was reportedly arrested at the venue, and charged with felony assault for using his phone as a weapon.
