Sheetz reduced the cost of its Unleaded 88 gasoline by 40 cents per gallon ahead of Thanksgiving. The outlet reported that gas prices have been trending down, with the discount at Sheetz taking effect starting November 19 and running until November 30. Sheetz will only be offering the discount at the 505 Sheetz locations that offer Unleaded 88, which is a blend of 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline., travel this year is expected to be closer to pre-pandemic levels, with around 65% of Americans driving to see friends and family for Thanksgiving in 2019.
"Americans are eager to get back on the road and visit loved ones this Thanksgiving, with the vast majority choosing the flexibility and convenience of driving, as gas prices have fallen below $3 in over half of the nation’s states," head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy Patrick De Haan said in a press release obtained by the outlet.reported that the average price of regular unleaded gas was $3.063 Tuesday, which was down from last month's average of $3.
