"The big one was getting the FAA to buy into allowing a terminal to be here and some money,” said Brown. "Plans for construction are this fall and hopefully in late fall of 2025 you'll see a temporary terminal in place and ultimately have some commercial scheduled air service,” said Brown. "it's one of those chicken or egg things where you've got air services that want to provide access in and out of gulf shores but they're not able to do that until we have a terminal couldn't get a terminal until we actually had commercial air service partners that are willing to come in and provide that service,” he said.
